Curious what they are for. Perhaps a secondary tailgate panel?

Cool, but they do not use that style of mount, at least in the very few pictures I have seen

The rear cip panel just slides into the groves from top to bottom so it can be easily removed to access the tailgate and bed on a hmmwv.

Mine have velcro on the inside of the u channel bracket.

They are too mount the CIP panals…had a couple retired vets at the shop who confirmed
