I’ve had quite a few inquiries about a window on the M1165A1 rear wall, while I have these units at the shop, I can’t and don’t want to ship them, this is more of an offering for customers in the shop, the issue is
I wouldn’t venture to ship this as it’s glass…I don’t have the ability to pack it so it gets to you in one piece, go to any glass shop and have them take measurements and Cut the piece of glass for you.
the seal that holds it in they can supply as well…it’s called Trim-lok, I would definitely have them install it so if they break it, they own it, Trim-lok seals require some special tools which these guys have, or at least my glass shop does.
The glass can also be had in several tints, this is the greenish tint IIRC.F969AC1E-2620-4630-8755-4ABB7FDE0F7D.jpeg
The OEM rear wall plug just unbolts…

I have a question about how it installs. Does that back panel stay on and you cut it out or do you take it off?

inside and I see frame is there

My post is for M1165A1 of Aluminum top and rear Wall, yours is not the same top or Rear wall.
Just take it to a glass shop…your top appears to be the same if not close to a civilian H1 HMC4 model.
Your rear wall window plug is removable.

I have the same window in my M1165A1. I also have a rear view mirror. This makes backing up much easier and safer. Also, it makes checking for vehicles in your right rear blind spot much easier.
I just ordered a backup canmera setup to help with rear vision, while I do agree with what you're saying. I also wouldn't mind a window in the back to help with lighting and vision to the rear...
