M116A3 put to work

How long and wide between the fenders are these little M116 trailers? Have a generator project that may fit on one of these. Set is 92" overall long and 36" wide. Weighs about 2,000#. Detroit 2-53 20 kw Delco set. Would put fuel tanke on each side in front or behind fenders for a total of 100 gallons or so.

I know I'm late to the party but very nice work on the stake sides Sundance. Do the A2's use a 8 bolt GM wheel ?. Might be picking one up and would like to have a good spare just in case.

Affirmative on the bolt pattern. 8 on 6.5 inch diameter.
