Out of all the manuals the Museum has, we do not have any parts books for the 10 ton variants. A filter change is in order on the M123 at the Museum and I cannot for the life of me find filter part numbers. There are 5 of them. 3 under the drivers step, one of which is an A/C cartridge, i think the number is on the can, just gotta dust it off and look. The other two look like the same ones on a deuce, but I don't want to take it apart be incorrect and have no replacement on hand. The other two are in the engine compartment, drivers side fender, again, cartridge type and no numbers on the cans anywhere. Anyone know of a parts manual in PDF can be located or have the numbers for the filters?

Thanks!
Will

Fuel filter closest to tank is a scraper filter. Other two take same element: NSN2910-00-287-1912. Filters under hood are for oil and filter element is
NSN 2940-00-141-9026 and 2 ea are required for one truck.

When changing the fuel filters it is necessary to close the shut off valve next to the filter body to avoid taking a bath in diesel fuel. This is not the same valve that controls the cross over line from the right to the left fuel tank. If canisters have drain valves drain them and remove same , clean
them out if necessary and install new elements. Remove and clean scraper filter. Then put all three filter bodies up just short of gasket. With a catch pan below, open the fuel shut off valve and allow each filter to fill to overflowing in turn and tighten them up as you go. this should keep engine from loosing prime.
