Saw a couple of these Schutt Industries M200A1s on a popular auction site, anyone know what size/brand tire they have on them? G177s possibly?

Thats an A3 rim from an m105a3. The m200 trailer is supposed to have duals(900r20s). Depending on tire rating, the M200 will not hold its specified weight.

I spent some time looking and photographing a military train recently from the 101st. Pictures posted on MV spotted forum.

Those 10r22.5 tire and rims seem to be the new standard. I saw them on a welding trailer, gen set trailer, m105a3's, and those trailers listed on that site. Tires I saw were made by goodyear G286? (not g177), dunlop, and Michelin.

I also saw water buffalos with 10r22.5 with a 6 bolt rim that had holes like the old m35 style wheel but 22.5. Looked like they were not lock ring but one piece. Check out the pics.

Ah ok thanks for the id! My M200 has dual 900r20s but is listed as a 2 wheel trailer same as these are.

Payload is the same for each trailer, just the empty weights are different.

On MVs (and other types) a "wheel" is regarded as whatever is at the end of an axle, be it a single or dual, so the actual number of tires doesn't count. (Does that make sense?).
Thus an M35 is a 6x6 regardless of whether it has 6 single tires, or 10 total tires when dualed in back; or in the case of your M200, a 2-wheel trailer regardless of whether it has singles or duals.

Cheers

I know this is an old thread but all my M200A1s have 9x20s on them. My question is will a 10x20 fit on these rims & if so will the side walls be too close to run safely? I learned on my tandem dual gooseneck that you can't use 265/75R16 tires (from my truck) as the side walls will rub and overheat running down the road loaded......wanted to know if anyone has installed 10x20 tires on their trailers...

Thanks,

Kevin

Could I trouble you for an actual tape measurement on your M200A1. I have one coming from PA and a transporter needs the width outer fender edge to outer fender edge. The Mil. Spec. plate seems to indicate wheel face to wheel face. No site rep where it is.
