M35A2 Battery Cables Replacements

Anyone have a line on nos or at least correct accurate replacement battery cable set for the M35A2.

Just pull your old ones and remake them with welding cable.

Use 2/0 cable. "welding" cable is good because of the fine strands making it flexible.
Use correct lugs for fine strand cable.

What are you guys paying for 2/0? It is $7/ft here whereas 2 is $1.79

2/0 is a different size wire then #2. 2/0 is larger and if you priced it in the welding cable I imagine that it will be a little pricey.

here is a link from McMaster Carr for to check out that has some battery cable. They sell by the foot and are pretty easy to deal with. You may have to scroll down when reading it and look for battery cable.

Dito on NAPA. I replaced 2 of my 4 cable ends. GET THE BIG ONES, not the smaller ones to save a few bucks.

What are you guys paying for 2/0? It is $7/ft here whereas 2 is $1.79

Welding depot .com SuperFlex2/0 welding cable black $3.30 per ft. red is $3.47 per ft. Don't know how shipping would be on something like that but if you shop around you should be able to do better then $7.00 per.
