The fuel filter on my deuce is leaking at the bottom nut. Its not leaking at the bleader / petcock. If I remove the bolt, is there a rubber washer that will be inside that needs removed or will it come out with the bolt? Is there a size / part number for that washer? I am assuming that is the cause of the leak. fuel filter.jpg

Not sure what you refer to as "bottom nut". The canister housing has an interior threaded sleeve that is attached to the bottom of the canister, for the top bolt to grab and pull the canister up into the sealing o ring.

Your canister seems to have been welded up at the bottom at some point. Maybe a bolt overtorquing mishap?
Chances are, this wild welding endeavour is leaking.
Also, the drain petcock could need tightening.

Take the canister off, clean and inspect. Grind down weld and re-weld if it is the weld that has a crack..

Or simply replace with a good used one.
