hello ah well ah hmm…
ALRIGHT I HAVE STAGE FRIGHT!😲

My deuce is broke.
I am looking for a dozen of the new style torque rod ends for my 1966 M35 a2. I dreamt about them for to long after first seeing them on Big Mikes Motor Pool web site and a couple of other ones a few years (probably 5years) ago. Now for the past 18 months after checking in on Big Mikes web site and others much to my dismay, there have been none to be had.
It would be great to know who manufactures them and where they are made and why there seems to be none around. I know, they are or were $100.00 a pop! That would total out to roughly 1/5 of the truck purchase price!
It seems the southeastern Arizona desert is hell on wheels for the original rubber ones . I am sure my packing 8 to 10 tons to often in a 2 1/2 ton truck has nothing to do with it though. If anyone has any information it would be greatly appreciated. My water well is dry and I need my deuce to haul water. So even the older style I suppose at a reasonable price
Thank you to all who may be able to help me out and to anyone else who even reads this.
If I manage to garner any pertinent information I will surely make an effort to post it here.
To one and all, Happy Trails.IMG_2325.pngIMG_1409.jpeg

A quick search finds the greasable version on ePay for almost $700.

Looking at one of our advertisers (here on the site) - They offer rubber replacements for $60 each. You are going to need a "press" to extract the old and install the new. It SUCKS but they are obtainable...
