search turned up a lot of speedometer issues but I didn't see anything like my problem.
anyone else have a working odometer but no speedometer movement at all.
My thoughts are if the odo is working the cable, adapter, gears etc.. must be good and the problem is in the gauge its self.
is there a way to clean/repair the gauge internally or is a replacement the only option?

I would sure agree with the above reply if the speedo works your cable is good and that only leaves the odometer itself, easy to replace and not very expensive!
