Some smoke is normal. As mentioned above, it depends on the quantity and "quality" of the smoke. Different colors mean different things, Healthy, burning oil, headgasket, etc.

What kind of MPG do you get?????? This would tell you if the truck is overfueled or else there is some other problem.

It is possible that the FDC is stuck on the highest pressure and that would enrichen the fuel to the point of smoking like you have described.

How does it start? Easily... with throttle added...

Does the smoke decrease when the truck is at full operating temperature?

Most all diesels with mechanical injections smoke more when they are cold.

As it was mentioned start answering some of these questions because if you do not, we cannot help you.....

Take a video of the Deuce smoking. All Deuces smoke. You need to tell us the color of the smoke. A multifuel is not like a car or pickup that doesn't smoke unless something is wrong. Also, have you been letting it idle for long periods or been driving slow? Drive it at highway speed for 10 - 15 miles.

The turbo was added to the multifuel to clean up smoke. With almost no exception, the NA multifuel is quite the smoker. I think your truck is doing exactly as it should.

If the smoke is black it is fuel and you likely have no serious problem. As stated previously, the purpose of adding the turbo was to decrease the amount of smoke. Many deuce owners like to see the smoke. Forget it and enjoy your truck. :D
