picked up my third deuce last night. hope i get to keep this one. last two were not on the up and up legally so i parted with them to avoid problems. the truck was rebuilt in 1992 but i dont know all what was done. all the 11 tires look new and most still have the nipples on them like a new tire. the motor in this has a bad one cylinder. my plan before i picked it up is either a cummings 5.9 and mercedes 6 speed or an industrial cummings 365 and a fuller 10 speed. the question is what motor pieces are worth removing and trying to sell so i can recoup some of the investment. it will be a constant give and take since the plan is also a full air ride front and rear suspension with a tandem spread to accommodate 16-20xl's, aprox 8 inch lift, power steering, cross over steering conversion, and dual circuit brake system with hydro booster and 15 inch disks on the front.
basically it comes down to this. please list the parts that are coveted to be pulled off the engine and trans and list a fair price to both me and a member buying. i would rather these parts go to someone in the site than an anybody on ebay.
