M35A2C Driveshaft U Joint Question

1987 M35A2C Driveshaft U joint on front side of transmission: One of the needle bearing caps came out while driving on highway. Pulled over. Could not find it. Are the needle bearings and cap an over the counter item in the local parts store, or is it a special order item? Part Number? Can you buy one cap or must you buy the entire u joint? Thanks for any advice.

Do you mean the jack shaft between transmission and transfer case or the front driveshaft from transfer case to front axle.

I do not think you can buy just the cap. It is a local part. In the sticky's at the top of the deuce form their is some part numbers.

Got to buy the whole joint. Napa and advance heavy duty ones are number 295 standard duty ones are 330.
