Not Correct Filter

Hello Guys,
I did a fluid change yesterday and had gone to NAPA for an External Trans Cooler Filter. Being in the NE CT region not a lot of choices, They had the NAPA 1551 in stock and it was $15.99, so I got it. The spin on opening is not big enough and this filter does not fit on the A3. I found a Tractor Supply in the area and headed over. They had the Phram PH3519A on the shelf for $5.99. And it fit, fluid was changed and Filters reistalled and System refilled, using the 4 drain method, with new filters saved for last. If the NAPA 1551 is a good number, it does not fit on the A3.
Was this filter a fluke? Listed on box and filter as 1551.
