Back in October I bought 3 of the M35A3 1993 models, I just the titles in friday its time to bob one. What I want to know is, I have a set of the 53" I plan on doing a 8' lift. Will the rims off of the A3 be ok? Do I need any more back spacing for those tires? BTW These trucks are in mint condition the truck I plan on bobing has 300 orginal miles on her.

They will fit the rims , but thier has been alot of discussion on the fact that the bead style on the 53 tires is not the same as the 14.5 tires . So A3 rims are really only good for the 14.5 tires , or at least tires with the same style bead as the 14.5 's .

they will not works on the m35a3 wheel, there is too much offset and they will rub the truck a ton. As a matter of fact anything bigger than the stock 14.5's will rub so I would sell those wheels off and get some Hemtt ones made up or some other custom wheel with enough of an offset.

rear does not matter if you flip the hubs, I don't know what the offset measurement will be I just know from experience that those wheels won't cut it. I don't even think that the hemtt wheels with 16.00 r20's will be enough, never have tried that combo but someone on here might have already.

Does any have a photo of this hemtt wheel ?

Not to poop on your parade, but I thought something was not right in your picture. I went out to my shop and did some measuring. The rear axles on a deuce are 48 inches on centers. This would mean the guy either did a huge amount of work to his rear suspension or he did a little work with photoshop. I'd guess the latter.

He said he had to modify the rear axles. Bust as to the front he did nothing. Hde said he had to move them apart in the rear. He is going to send me some photos. I would not have to do that cause I plan to bob mine so I wont be runing two. I ll just have to have a new drive shaft made. Ill post photos soon I get them in the email.
