Being able to get the radios repaired and maintained is a big consideration. I got all my stuff back in the early 1980's at scrap prices. I ended up with complete systems and various mounting configurations, but finding people who know how to play with tube sets is very hard, as almost all of them have passed away.
This truck is just an ongoing project now; so I just keep getting things done bit by bit and slowly, but it gets closer to completion all the time. It will never be complete of course, but it will get closer.....
