Hey my name is Kevin, so my Grandfather-in-law has a old M37 Dodge military truck that his passed wife had gotten him, he hasnt been in the best of health since she passed, having to deal with heart surgery and struggling with mild forms of dementia, but we want to do something nice for him and get him out of the house and i figured what we could do is fix up the truck after having sat for 2 years, and right now the only thing that it really needs that it is missing is the cabin seats for the passenger and driver side.
I appreciate reading the long winded paragraph, my question for anyone here is how exactly would i make an alternative for the seats in the cab if i don't have orinal leave springs for the seats. Are there common alternatives that people have found to use instead, and if you had done any alternatives could you show me photos of your progress and/or end result? I was able to find everything but the spring bottoms to cushions online so i believe it will take me longer to find them, so if i could find an alternative in the mean time i think it would still be great.
