Started on the M416 this week. Used my new needle scaler on the floor that had 3+ coats of paint and some surface rust but no perforation. Used paint mask and eye protection. Next time will add ear protection! Boy, it is loud when working in the bed with the scaler. Removed remaining paint with aircraft stripper and wire brush. Few dents and pits but better than I expected. Applied Eastwoods rust encapsulator, primed, and painted with RAPCO OD. Hopefully this will preserve the bed until I can do restoration. Overall the trailer was better than I expected and it came with M151A2!
