M43 and B-17 "Aluminum Overcast"

A couple of Military Vehicle Collectors of Colorado brought their vehicles over to Centennial Airport south of Denver for a photo op with the B-17 "Aluminum Overcast" which was at the airport giving rides. She provides a **** of a background for pictures. Denver's South Metro Fire Dept brought one of their modern meat wagons over for some shots also.

Where does steel rain come from? Aluminum Overcast.

IIRC, Aluminum Overcast never flew a wartime mission.
