M54A1 gets new paint job!!!!

Hi folks,Remember this red,white and green M54A1 i got from Aera 52 several years ago,http://www.steelsoldiers.com/5-ton-up/16612-recovery-trip-4-a.html, well hopefully(weather cooperating) in a few weeks, it'll have a brand new paint job,BUT,ya'll just have to wait and see it when I get done.

It's gonna be a suprise,I will say,it will make it's first public appearance(after paint) at the Allison's woods living history display that Tarheel posted about( Sept 18-20).

Got from the firewall back all primered today,it's awating it's first coats of paint in the AM!!!

Ok folks,I guess I've kept you in suspense long enough,here's a few progress pics taken today at noon.I'm using FS595A-24087 Gillispe.

A couple pecularities I noticed with this truck,it has an 800 series dash(notice the hole for the flame heater pressure gauge,emergency shutoff,and fuel primer/flame heater pump) and it has an extra rib stamped into the cab back,about 8 in above the cab bottom.
