M54A2 Brake lines

Just had my lines remade. I've rebuilt the master cylinder, rebuilt the airpack, flushed everything with denatured alcohol, replaced all the wheel cylinders, now I'm replacing all the brake lines. The place I had make the lines has ordered in everything to make cunnifer lines to replace the hard lines on the truck.

From that frame junction block down to the axle: if that's some type of flex hose, how does it hold that offset jog?

...and if that's a hard line, what happens when the axle articulates?

If you look at the lines from the first picture, the stainless braided lines have black sections past the sleeves. I did a double take after reading your post and went back, and it does appear to be soft lines that are just looking like they are sharper bends than they actually are from the angle in the last picture. The one that shows both feet shows a far more relaxed curve than the last picture, I'd chock it up to optical illusion and most likely soft lines.
