M54A2 Identifying numbers?

Where can I find the identification numbers on my M54A2. I have struggled to find them The dash plate is not the original, I know it's not a 89 like the title says. That was just the year it was overhauled.

Are there identifying numbers anywhere else on the frame or anywhere?

Look for numbers stamped into the frame rail by the steering gear. 9525 etc. M54A2s were only built in the mid to late 1960s.
