There is a Smythe Automotive by me that has a 55gal drum for 240. I will pick that up after I get the hoses fixed. One of the surplus places had a good deal on it, I think in Pa.

Well, the problem there is they are out of 55gal barrels. But the 6 gal for 15 bucks kicks butt. The problem there is the 25.00 haz mat fee tacked on.

You have a nice looking M62. Looks much better than mine. I have a 1953 also but painted an ugly yellow. Anybody know how many M62's were built? Seems like quite a few showing up. Every time I'm underneath mine I'm just amazed at how well its built.

Do you pay the haz. mat fee on LTL truck shipments? Twelve 6 gallon buckets should fit on a pallet with no problem.

I don't know what LTL truck shipment is, I have to claim ignorance there. On the Coleman's website it said they would tac on the 25.00 fee. I think its all 1gal cans though.

Sorry, LTL means Less Than Truck Load amount, trucking companies specialize in small loads like individual pallets, sometimes for very cheap rates depending on locations/hubs.
