Its pricey. Whats the matter with the points setup ? There very dependable and maint free.

Charles talbert there in n.c has everything to do this conversion. M-series rebuild-repower. In my personal m715 i put over 50k miles on it with only 1 ignition tune up and it didnt need it then !

The electronic ignition I put in mine, back in the day, worked very well and the HEI distributor fit right in with no modifications... ... ... ...to that big block Chevrolet V8.

I replaced my points on my M715 with a Petronix electronic ignition. It ran great and now it will not start. Is the coil bad?
