Hi everyone. Quick question--is there any difference in HP and torque ratings between the Cummins in the M800 versus M900 series 5-tons?

Thanks a lot.

Can a Mod move this to the 5-Ton section?

No HP difference for the 939 and 939A1 series, as they used the same 250 HP, 855 CID n/a NHC250.

The 939 A2s had a turbocharged Cummins 6CTA 8.3 Litre, which puts out the same 240-250 HP.

The 8.3L is turbo charged and is actually listed as 240HP in the TM's vs 250HP of the Naturally aspirated NHC250.

Like Capt Marion said the A2's have the 8.3L.
