M813 Grill Differences?

My grill is of the tube type but different than some that I have seen. I was told that the tube type grill was made to accept the winter front cover. It is easier to install the attachment clips via holes and rivets to the tube style grill then the flat bar style. I could be wrong?

The slat grill should have a mesh piece behind it to protect the radiator.

I would be interested in the mesh guard as well, two out of three of my trucks don't have one.
