M816 stuck in Groom, TX

Well, my buddy is stranded in Groom, TX with his M816 5 ton wrecker.

Basically, he got a hole in the oil pan. His plan right now is to try and JB weld the hole closed. If that won't work, he'll try to get it welded.

I'm posting this to see if anybody is in or around Groom, or Amarillo that either might be able to help, or at least can provide temporary storage if need be.

I assume he has determined how the hole happend and it does not involve rods, etc . . . JB weld is great stuff, he is on the right track with that, just fishplate patch the hole by an inch or so all around and it should hold forever.

I sure hope the rest of his trip is good to go! I would be curious to know what kind of MPG he's getting and what his fuel bill is when he arrives home;-)
