New to this site but I like it already. Just got my M818 with winch and soft top from the Smryna TN sale. Showing 15K miles. Drove it home 45 miles away with no problems. Thanks to the man from SC for giving me the pull and the brake fluid. We were all in such a tizzy that I did not get your name. Sorry!! Anyway, where can I get a TM for my new brute. Also the headlight switch had been scarfed so I need one of those. Have seen 818s with big single tire setup and wondering the sources for these wheels and tires. Thanks.

You can get a headlight switch from Memphis Equipment - 901-774-0600 - they can supply a manual as well. Since you don't have a manual, you may not know you drove that 45 miles without brakelights. If you weren't giving hand signals, this was probably thrilling for the folks behind you.

Check with JWALLER for tires. I think he's got some. I am not sure where you find the rims, as I'm looking for a spare myself.

I am new to this site but not new to moving less than legal vehicles down the road (wink! wink!). I had an escort vehicle with roof mounted revolving caution lites and did not receive one horn toot or even one middle finger salute!! It was fun and uneventful..! Thanks for the info guys.

Yes we were there on Fri April 11. The picking up was painless compared to the EUC root canal !!! Event 3226 closed on Feb 14 nearly two months later I got to drive my truck !!!
