M88 ??

hello. have any of you guys came across one of these. think its an M88.

Of alll the things I've seen in civilian hands, never seen an M88 out of the military.

When I went and picked up my windshields earlier this year the gentleman I bought them from had one in his front yard (Salisbury, NC). REALLY nice lawn ornament.

Yep,A B Linn has a recovery vehicle,except it's a M51,not a M88

I'd rather have the M51 myself, course I always like BIGGER armor over standard BIG armor. The M51 was built on the HUGE M103 heavy tank chassis while the M88 was built on the M48/60 series.

Those things are awesome! Sure could use one for logging! Can you image the ruts(and damage) they would leave in the lawn?
