M915-916 Freightliner cab on m936 possible?

Anyone swap cabs and hood on the m939 series trucks to Freightliner cab and hood off the newer 915-916 trucks? Looking to add a little more comfort to the m936 wrecker. Thanks.

Its been asked before a few times. You will have to refab mounts for the hood no doubt.

if I was going to do it I would use the old 916 body. The freightliner body is fugly and has about the same amount of room a duce has, the old am generals have a huge cab with lots of room.

I like the looks of the older am general cabs also but prefer better sealing and quieter cab of the Freightliner.

May have to do some more mods for this cab but it is for sale for around 20k. Setup like an 916A1 cab.

That’s awesome but mine being a wrecker there’s definitely no room for that without major modifications
