M915A1 No Bypass Oil Filter?

I recently acquired a M915A1 and went to go do its first oil change and there is only one oil filter....Now I am questioning my sanity, but I could have sworn that there should be a bypass oil filter in addition to full flow filter and they were always right next to each other under the Turbo but there is only one. It sure looks like the factory NTC-400 engine these came with. Mine has a CAT 7155 transmission but I don't know why that would have any relevance to the engine oil filter setup.

I have looked though the manuals and they all show two filters under the turbo.

Did the military equip these without bypass oil filters? Should I be looking at how to add one in?

Pictures are from the ground looking up, Front of vehicle is to the right in both pictures. (Yes this is pre oil change hence why the filter looks so dirty)
