M920 civilian Batteries Connected Picture Request

I removed the toasted batteries out of my 920 with some civilian batteries. Layer cables out same form as they where but when connecting something didn’t seem right. I got some spark. Can anyone send me a pic on how thy have theirs connected?

Pic of batteries in a 915A1 upon receipt before anything was taken apart. Other than being dead and requiring a jump they worked. Put 4ea new 6TLs in it following layout in pic and truck started, ran and charged.

u don't say how big a spark. you will get a little spark because the alt. is always drawing a little current.
