Hi folks, I am in need of a fuel shut down solenoid for my M923. I have read stories of problems with the China made replacements.
I'm a nubie here, just looking for a direction to find a "GOOD " replacement.
Your thoughts and advise appreciated - Thanks

For which motor? Both have it and either one could come from China

For the 6CTA in the A2 trucks I've had good luck and decent customer service from DB Electrical. 1yr warranty on the unit.

For the NHC250 24v units I only use Cummins or Interstate McBee

I threw my soleniod in the garbage when it started acting up and not disengaging/retracting when i would turn the eng over. I just use the kill cable already installed.

From some of the postings I read on the Chinese replacements, your option sounds like a deal. Years ago that was a std shut down method with many diesel applications. Thanks for the reminder
