I've entered my M923 and (maybe) M38A1 in a car show in a few weeks. I want to piggyback the M38A1 in the bed of the 5 ton. Any chance I'll stretch or wave the sheet steel in the bed? The bed is perfect so I don't want to bend it. If anyone has experience doing this, chime in let me know the results of your bed steel. I can throw some plywood or 2x8s in to spread the tire load, but having it bare would be nice.

Heck, you should be able to carry a bus, forklift, or tractor in that thing!. I have carried all those in a deuce. No problem. (Your truck won't even know it's on board.)

Al,
Don't sweat it, my buddy put a CJ-5 in his 923. No issues other than tie down points. The D rings in the drop sides are light duty for securing a vehicle. Chock it well. Hopefully you have a short drive.
