Goodmorning everyone, I had an eventful Friday evening with my newly acquired 923, was exploring some power lines after dark and slipped into some mud that I couldn't get out of. After running home to grab the M35, I pulled it out and returned both vehicles to the house. Crawled into bed at 6:45am. Whew! Yesterday morning I began checking fluids throughout, and found I had water in my front differential (wasn't there the day before). Bummer, the left front wheel has been weeping minor amounts of fluid and it just so happened to be the ONLY wheel that went a little under water.
I've been doing some research, and no one has clearly answered my questions which is:
(1) if I replace my axle vents with tubes routed up to the stack, and change my fluid, do I still need to change the seals or will they go back to sealing?
(2) I've read the TMs, and watched a few videos, but need to know a parts list w/part #s for the front axle seals
Thanks in advance
