You need to fix the air leak first and then you can test the front axle by jacking up one front wheel and turn it, you should be able to turn it in the unlock position, then turn the switch to lock position and see if it locks in and does not turn.

thanks i will try to find leak it leaks out pretty fast and air gauge goes down quick it almost sounds as if its leaking by or in the engine air breather tube when i put shifter into low range i think it works
