M923a2 Soft Top Repair

Anyone know where to get a new track insert to have sewed on the front edge of the soft top that slides into the track on the windshield? Our seamed pulled out nearly all the way across the top. So took it to upholstery guy and he can't find new insert to sew on it. Track insert needs replaced because it's brittle and failing to hold securely.

Have your upholstery guy sew on a loop of material from one end to the other, replacing the insert. Then slide rubber rope in the loop to keep it expanded when in the windshield channel. There are threads on repairing this problem with multiple suggestions but I like this one for simplicity.
