M923A2 starter

I want to buy a spare starter for my M923A2 and the part number is MS53011-2. My question is it need to be 12 tooth or 11 tooth.
The ones I have found all say 12 tooth.
Please advise.

The starter is the same as the M35A2, and they are 12 tooth. You may have to rotate the noise of it.
I have a number of starters new and rebuilt, pm if your interested.

The starter is the same as the M35A2,

Out of curiosity is it the same as the 809's?

No the M809's use the same ones as a M939, M939A1's
