M925A2 Trailer Made From M923A2 Truck
I found the pic below and got all excited. It is an M35A2 pulling a trailer made from an M35 chassis, but it looks pretty good with fresh matching paint. I can get an M923A2 rearward of the cab with extended frame rails. The singles would allow it to match the ride height of my M925A2. I'd fab up a tongue with lunette ring and pipe in the air brakes and electrical. I would also need to fab up some type of tongue jack, probably just do a simple hydraulic cylinder with a foot plate on the end of it and a 24V hydraulic pump that I have. Is there anything else I am not considering which would present itself as to why this would not work? 2 beds with 2 cargo covers could haul a lot of fun stuff, and look knarly doing it. It's empty weight would be more than necessary due to the axle mass, but I'm not too concerned with it unless it is at the 15,000lb "rated" limit to begin with...
