M929A2 gauge upgrades?

Hi guys, forgive me if this has been discussed before. I didn’t find anything upon a quick search.

Our volunteer fire department has a M929A2 with a skid mounted tank/pump set up as a brush truck. As of right now, the gauges are hard to read with the red backlight, especially for some of the volunteers that don’t have any experience with military trucks.

Are there any drop in replacement gauges that would work well in the truck, or even a way to change the lights within the gauges so they’re easier to read? We haven’t taken them out to look at them at all yet.

Thanks,

What gives the red glow is the screw- on bulb covers. I saw where one member on here drilled holes in the threaded portion of the bulb covers, coinciding with the direction the light travels to each corresponding gauge. That is free except for a little bit of work.
