M939 series transfer case low range / front axle engagement

Take off the 4 3/4" head bolts off the plate that hold the shifter cable to the transmission. Take the ground that is attached to it off the plate. Add length to it and ground it to the bellhousing with the other ground near it.

Bulb burned out. Bad ground for the bulb, bad power wire to the bulb. A number of things it could be.

The bulb did work when I played around with it. So maybe it is a bad ground. Thanks for the quick response.

Can anyone supply me a local part number for the coil on the lockout solenoid? My valve works but the coil is cracked inside. Havent had luck yet. Thanks!

There isnt one that i have found. Just the whole solenoid. I have a good take off i can sell. Or you can just do away with it all.

Thats for people who don't know how to operate it in low range. Transfer cases blow in high and 6x6 or in low going forward. There is no pattern. You can use low reverse all you want if you use your head
