I've read through all of the threads about the fan clutch on the M939A2 series trucks. There is tons of helpful information there. But what I don't see, and would like to know, is if anyone has ever successfully sourced all of the rebuild parts individually, and documented what they are (the only part I saw in the threads was the main bearing SKF B38.
Or, do I just pay the $400 +/- for a rebuild kit from a vendor.
OR, has anyone successfully transplanted a fan clutch from an over the road truck?
There was a time when I had 30+ M939/A1/A2 fan clutches in my possession, but have sold it all over time and now, of course, need one
Thanks much for any guidance and or willingness of some of you incredibly talented fellas out there to rebuild my fan clutch for a fee.
