Mine did 3 years ago. Truck had 17000 miles on it from the military. It went from zero drip to puddle in the driveway overnight. Jack up the frame to let the front axle droop, pull the pan and get R done. Mine was factory sealed with rtv and was GLUED to the block. I had to use a propane torch around the perimeter to get it loosened with a putty knife.


I reccomend a proper felpro gasket and some light rtv on reinstall.

It was a Felpro 2 piece rear main seal. I picked it up at the local Oreillys. Dont remember the part number.
