Hello all,
Looking into buying a Hmmwv off GP. I noticed that some of the vehicles have a paper on the window that says Maintenance Placard as a heading and then it says deadlined. Then another line down it says startability. Is this just a general piece of paper they put on the window signifying they are getting ride of it or it’s it some mechanical issues?

thank you,
Pat

Means it was taken out of service due to a starting issue.

Could need an IP, starter, filters, oil, batteries, fuel. No telling really

Thank you! On GP they show it starting and running. Won’t start without jumping. Thinking that would be the start issue. It also has the rear drive shaft removed. Maybe just a U-Joint issue there at the minimum.

They don’t start because the batteries are dead and need Slave jump…
All USMC rolling stock is Harvest/exchange program, the Army trucks are DLA turn in’s….regardless, they are all excess and turned in for proper
disposition And disposal.
