Manifold pressure gauge

Is there anyone who can tell me if I can use this gauge to measure manifold pressure in my multi fuel LDS 465 1A Engine? I need to adjust my I.P. for 2400rpm (18 to20 hg) and at the droop screw adjustment( 8 to 10 hg) at 1600 rpm.

As long as you're not putting out more than 30 psi boost it should work OK.
The vacuum portion isn't gonna do you any good as diesels don't produce any.
The bigger the sweep range of the scale, the easier it is to see the difference between say, 16 psi and 17.5 psi and your gauge looks like it has that.
