Since these stencil machines are used at all military repair facilities, I think this probably qualifies being in this forum.
Picked up locally a Marsh “Model R” 1” Stencil Machine.
Deal included a 50lb case of Marsh oil board for stencil use.
Been wanting one of these for years but I refused to pay the high prices they normally bring.
Came across a steal of a deal.
Seller didn’t know what he had. Just wanted it gone.
It’s definitely seen lots of use, but works great and isn’t trashed like some on eBay.
Every character cuts clean and crisp.
We had every size stencil machine at our units hanger and I got pretty good at making them.
Still use them.
They’re very heavy and very well made.
Built like a tank.
It needs a good cleaning throughout and some TLC
The rubber foot pads need replaced due to age.
Pics are right after I brought it home.
It’s cleaned up nicely on the outside since then.
Will clean the inside and oil the required places/parts.
Already cut some stencils I’ve needed.
