Mine has a axle vent installed in the master cylinder with no problems.it had previously been hooked up to the draft toob.I know the motor pool sargent at the local national guard and time to time ask him and the other mechanics questions about my m35a2.they stated concernig the venting of the master cylinder.that some of there trucks are draft toob vented and some use axle vent.looking at my print on the fording kit it shows installing a axle vent in the draft toob.I would also think that as fluid is pulled from master cylinder in the small amount used to apply the brakes it would be pushed back in the same amount by the shoes retrackting from the drums thus equalling out.
