Page 7 has the proper adjustment procedure for Brake pushrod-piston freeplay for a military vehicle including the deuce.
Go to www.jatonkam35s.com and look in the deuce TM section almost to the bottom of the list.
This is an old manual but it has fantastic illustrations of the master cylinder and other hydraulic brake components and will guide you thourhg rebuilding or otherwise maintaining your brake system.
