The Duke starts in any weather condition almost. Even as low as -10F I've gotten the M35A2 to start with only a mild amount of external heat from a magnetic block heater 500watts in power or so. I use a lot of additives for lubrication and cold starting however.

Florida to anywhere or someplace else.
Left the only tropical climate in the USA
Batteries lost their amps.
When the temperature dropped did your cars and other trucks go OK?
Use one of them to jump the batteries, one at a time
for a while but don't try to start Matilda like that.................

Put a charger on everything when the temp drops!
The vehicals need TLC
Owning military equipment means you are only one of the "soldiers" when
there was supposed to be six maintaining that vehicle

Nope.....I still learning to spell and hate the cold.............

Wow-- I never check my batteries. I just hop in the truck hit the red button-- it fires and off we go for an adventure. I start my truck up in less then 32 degrees F all the time without the aid of a charger. I would try some additives for the winter like Diesel Kleen it really does seem to help. Or even a little block heater (the magnetic types) will heat the oil up enough to make it easier to crank over.

Nope. Mine fires right up even below freezing. Not crank for a minute then start... I mean bump the starter with the shut-off out once, and then she fires right up.

Mind you I just jinxed myself....
