I'll check up on that, if that's the case then I'm just gonna fork out the money and get weighted tags.I believe the historic/antique registration is very cheap. BUT, it comes with a lot of restrictions on what you can do with the vehicle. Basically, You're only supposed to drive the vehicle to/from shows. I think that's correct.
I checked up with the local DMV and Antique tags will be $52 with property tax and all, I think I'm gonna just go with that for now just to get on the road. One step closer to being able to ride the trails man.Got my tag today no problems!!! Went with weighted at 17000 lbs, tax title and tags right at $400.00 outvthe door. This was a SC truck so had to pay taxes. The Tag fee was right at $230.00 I think. Anyway I am legal and ready to travel.
Ohh I will be at Denton for sure! It's just 15 miles from here.Don't forget the Denton show in April.
