found a collection of pics of my first deuce Purchased and then driven back from holland. then before and after re-paint, some shots of our early club the deuce here in uk. (one at a show where the P.R. and YES in sevice police car turns up at most of our shows! <the SUPRISE when "naughty drivers" get pulled over and dealt with>..ello ello ello! wats goin on here then? (sorry a-typical sterreotype officer aproach statement over here) (typical answer bieng "I thught you wuz a "toy car" ! (oh yes ? well have a ticket on us..lol)I digress then picture of what happens as the collection grows...(and yes the jeep sometimes gets towed behind all three!)..the deuce is now on big singles and painted the "standard green" (from my 50 gall drum of mix!..)

that li'l truck was my scammell constructor....the next week the transmission caught fire! and jammed the gearbox x-case the lot! I had comments like "that's gonna tek sum shiftin lad!" there's now't here that'l tow that monster! Iz that right sez i. (I WILL BE BACK!) (and ) got a lift back home about 5 miles as it was a local show..and "rushed " !? back with .....(OOOOOH YES!) My M62 wrecker..(meanwhile scammell blocking country road!)..arrived at scene of (still) smoking scammell ..loads of curiouse onlookers by now plus the obligatory "local po'lice"..( "that'l not move that and simmilar comments!") HAA! watch sez I I'L show you MOVE (as I was both P...Off and looking at the dollar/pound signs in my head!) hooked up and.........PULLED THE BEAST screaming all 10 tires LOCKED n' smokin up road and onto the show site! ..and..oh yes am I glad I have the wrecker (( "bless it's socks" ))in my collection?? YEP! ..lol ..scammell KA-PUT swapped it for the...KRAZ nice deal. (lucky) P.S. the Scammell was not the only one in my collection that "pulls 3 in a row lol" I am putting pics of the recovery return trip and the return of others I had displayed.
